The Transformation of Q
Originally constructed in 2012 as an ice-breaking multipurpose support vessel, the transformation into a luxury expedition yacht by Icon Yachts is a testament to vision and dedication. The conversion spanned three years, resulting in a vessel that combines rugged strength with timeless elegance.
Comprised of 8 suites, Q can accommodate up to 12 guests, as well as 13 crew onboard. She is filled with amenities, including a spa, steam room, pool, jacuzzi, and a gym with all the latest equipment. Onboard, Q has a range of water toys and vehicles to keep guests entertained on the water, including jet skis and a 3-person submarine for exploring marine life.
A Vision in Motion
In addition to being a luxury yacht, we are currently outfitting Q to be a floating medical and disaster-relief unit, with the ability to house scientific research equipment for the continuation of oceanic research, conservation, and education. Our team is working with scientific and humanitarian partners to ensure the vessel can operate at the highest level of emergency response readiness and responsible practices of marine research.
